Effective Date: 17th September 2025
This Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all monetary transactions conducted by any individual or entity (“User,” “you,” or “your”) in connection with the prepting.com and tangopilot.com platforms (collectively, the “Services”), each of which is owned and operated by SchoolingWork, including its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and partners (collectively, “SchoolingWork,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy is incorporated by reference into the SchoolingWork Terms of Service (“TOS”) and shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth therein.
Your use of the Services, including any purchase of subscriptions, application fees, or ancillary products, constitutes your unconditional acceptance of this Policy. If you do not agree to every term herein, you must refrain from making any payment to SchoolingWork or discontinue use of the Services immediately.
1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 Purpose
This Policy establishes the exclusive rules and procedures governing requests for refunds, reversals, credits, or chargebacks related to all payments associated with Prepting and TangoPilot. It is designed to provide clarity regarding User rights and SchoolingWork’s obligations while affording maximum protection to SchoolingWork against unfounded claims or abusive refund practices.
1.2 Scope of Coverage
This Policy applies to:

- All admission or application fees collected through Prepting for the purpose of facilitating school or university applications.
- Any ancillary or add-on products or features billed directly by SchoolingWork in connection with the Services.
Payments made to third parties through or in connection with the Services are expressly excluded from this Policy, as described in Section 7 below.
2. Definitions
For purposes of interpretation, the following capitalized terms shall have the meanings set forth below, whether used in the singular or plural:
- “Subscription” means the recurring paid access to Prepting or TangoPilot, whether on a monthly, annual, or other billing cycle.

- “Chargeback” means any request by a User to a financial institution to reverse or dispute a previously authorized payment.
- “Cooling-Off Period” refers to the 14-day statutory withdrawal period mandated by certain consumer-protection laws in the European Union (“EU”), United Kingdom (“UK”), and Republic of Turkey (“Turkey”).
These definitions are intended to ensure precision of meaning and shall govern the interpretation of all provisions herein.
3. Binding Nature and Relationship to Other Agreements
3.1 Integration with Terms of Service
This Policy forms an integral component of the TOS. In the event of any conflict between the TOS and this Policy regarding refund matters, the provisions of this Policy shall control.
3.2 No Additional Rights
Nothing in this Policy shall be construed to create rights or remedies beyond those explicitly stated. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved to SchoolingWork.
4. General Rule of Non-Refundability
4.1 Strict No-Refund Principle
Except as expressly provided in Section 5 (Statutory Withdrawal Rights) and Section 6 (Limited Prepting Fault Exception), all payments made to SchoolingWork for Prepting or TangoPilot are final and non-refundable. This includes, without limitation, fees for subscriptions, application processing, premium content, and any other product or service offered by SchoolingWork.
4.2 Irrevocability of Authorization
By submitting payment information and authorizing a charge, you acknowledge that the transaction is final and irrevocable except as required by mandatory law or as expressly provided in this Policy.
5. Statutory Withdrawal Rights (EU, UK, Turkey Only)
5.1 Cooling-Off Period
Users whose primary residence is located within the EU, UK, or Turkey are entitled to a 14-day Cooling-Off Period beginning on the date of the initial subscription charge.
5.2 Exercise of Right
To exercise this statutory right, the User must submit a clear, written cancellation request to info@schoolingwork.net within the 14-day period. Oral requests or messages to unofficial channels will not suffice.
5.3 Service Usage During Cooling-Off Period
Where the User accesses or materially uses the Services during the Cooling-Off Period, SchoolingWork may deduct from any refund an amount proportional to the Services provided prior to receipt of the cancellation notice, consistent with applicable consumer-protection directives.
5.4 Exclusions
Application Fees for school or university admissions are categorically excluded from the Cooling-Off Period and remain non-refundable, except as provided in Section 6.
6. Limited Prepting Fault Exception
6.1 Definition of Prepting Fault
A “Prepting Fault” exists only when (a) a verified internal technical failure of Prepting solely and directly prevents the timely submission of an Application Fee to the designated educational institution, and (b) the User has complied fully with all requirements and deadlines.
6.2 Refund Eligibility
Where a Prepting Fault is conclusively established, SchoolingWork shall refund 100% of the Application Fee paid for the affected application.
6.3 Exclusions from Prepting Fault
The following do not constitute Prepting Fault and will not give rise to a refund:
- Rejection of the application by the institution for any reason.
- Closure of admissions by the institution without public notice unless Prepting had verified knowledge of the closure prior to accepting the Application Fee.
- User error, including inaccurate data entry, late submission, or failure to provide required documents.
- Events beyond SchoolingWork’s reasonable control, including internet outages, acts of government, or force majeure.
6.4 Request Procedure
Users seeking a refund under this section must submit a written claim to billing@schoolingwork.net within 30 calendar days of the transaction date, including proof of payment, transaction identification, and any evidence supporting the allegation of Prepting Fault. SchoolingWork retains sole discretion to investigate and determine eligibility.
7. Third-Party Fees and Excluded Payments
7.1 Third-Party Payments Not Covered
SchoolingWork disclaims any responsibility for fees paid to third parties, including but not limited to educational institutions, testing agencies, courier services, or independent payment processors. Such payments are non-refundable and outside the scope of this Policy.
7.2 Linked Services
If you access third-party services through links or integrations within Prepting or TangoPilot, any payment disputes must be resolved directly with the third-party provider.
8. Chargebacks and Unauthorized Reversal
8.1 Prohibition
Initiating a chargeback or payment reversal through a financial institution without first complying with the procedures set forth in this Policy constitutes a breach of the TOS and may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
8.2 Recovery of Costs
In the event of an improper chargeback, SchoolingWork reserves the right to recover from the User all costs associated with the dispute, including administrative expenses, bank fees, and reasonable attorneys’ fees.
9. Currency, Exchange Rates, and Fee
9.1 Currency of Record
All transactions are processed in the currency displayed at checkout.
9.2 Exchange Rate Fluctuations
SchoolingWork is not responsible for changes in currency value or exchange rates between the time of payment and the time of any authorized refund.
9.3 Bank Charges
Any intermediary bank charges, foreign transaction fees, or other processing costs are the sole responsibility of the User.
10. No Waiver of Rights
Any discretionary refund issued by SchoolingWork beyond the strict terms of this Policy shall be considered a one-time goodwill gesture and shall not constitute a waiver of SchoolingWork’s rights or a precedent for future transactions.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
11.1 Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
11.2 Arbitration
All disputes arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Dhaka, Bangladesh, in the English language, under the rules of the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC).

If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction or an arbitration panel, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Modifications
SchoolingWork reserves the unilateral right to modify, amend, or replace this Policy at any time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting on our official websites or upon delivery through other reasonable communication channels. Continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
